Celebrating Catholic Education in Queensland (CCEQ) is an initiative of the Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC). The initiative brings together representatives from the five Diocesan school authorities, 17 Religious Institutes and QCEC to celebrate what it means to participate in Catholic education.

Our mission and purpose
The initiative aspires to create a strong, active, and supportive community that champions Catholic education in Queensland. It aims to promote and enhance Catholic education for Queensland’s Catholic school communities and facilitate a tapestry of celebrations across these communities.
The initiative believes in making a difference in the lives of those in schools, bridging Diocesan boundaries, and fostering a shared vision while respecting local traditions.
Activities
CCEQ plans and promotes two annual activities:

Representatives from five Diocesan school authorities, 17 Religious Institutes and QCEC come together to help plan, promote and implement Catholic Education Week and the Awards program.
