All nominations will be short-listed/selected by their relevant Diocesan or Religious Institute/MPJP panel. Short-listed nominations will be considered by the judging panels in accordance with the nomination criteria list under the category.
Nominations for the Spirit of Catholic Education Award will be judged by the relevant Diocesan or Religious Institute/MPJP panel. Nominations for the Aunty Joan Hendriks Reconciliation Award will be judged by a state-wide panel, facilitated by the QCEC.
Once judged, the selected recipients will be endorsed by Diocesan Directors. Recipients will be contacted by a member of the judging panel to confirm that they are willing to accept the award.
All nominees will receive a congratulatory email from the Executive Director, QCEC, a certificate in recognition of their nomination will also be forwarded to their Diocesan office or school for presentation.
Recipients (or one team representative) will be invited to attend a presentation ceremony at the State Launch event of Catholic Education Week. In 2025, the State Launch will take place in Rockhampton.
